Get Yer Ringtones

Veterans of the mailing list may recall Jiggy Ringy Dingy, my ukulele ring tone which was fortunate enough to win the KDFC/SF Conservatory Ring Tone Competition last year. You may also recall that I had no idea how you could make it work on your phone.

  

No longer! Here's what you do:

If you haven't done so already, download the Jiggy mp3 (totally free, very easy).   

Now, if you don't have a phone that allows you to load an mp3 directly from your computer (like an iPhone), go to PhoneZoo.com and sign yourself up for a free account. Here's how it will go from there:

  1) Upload the Jiggy mp3 to their website.
  2) They will text a weblink to your phone.
    3) Opening that weblink on your phone will download the Jiggy mp3 to your phone.
    4) Follow the usual steps for your phone to make the Jiggy mp3 your ringtone.
